The Legacy Project has hundreds of free online activities and guides that we've developed for all ages, from children to adults to elders.
Listen to a Life Contest
One of our featured activities is the annual Listen to a Life Story Contest which helps you connect generations in your family, school, or community. The contest opens dialogue and changes lives. Young people 8-18 years can enter by interviewing a grandparent or grandfriend 50 years or older to write a 300-word story. We offer interview tips and you can look at past winning stories.
Legacy Links
Another popular resource is Legacy Links. What if your life story, your reflections and experiences, could change the world? In fact it does, in little ways every single day. The Legacy Links process helps you become more aware of the meaning and impact of your life – your life story in the context of lives/life on the planet in the even bigger context of lifetimes across generations. Legacy Links is a life review process that's a journey of self-discovery and reflection, a way to share the most important parts of yourself. More importantly, it's a way to help with sensemaking about what really matters as we try to #ChangeTheStory in an uncertain world.
